Barbara A. Richter of Lovelton died Friday at her home. She was born in Fox Hollow Windham Twp., on July 14, 1945 daughter of the late Clyde and Helen Keithline Farr.
Barb and her late husband Charles Thomas Richter were the owners of the Tomb Stone Inn in Lovelton for over 36 years. She attended the Mehoopany United Methodist Church and the Lovelton Bible Church. And was member of the Wyoming County Tavern Association.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by step daughters Cathy Pasternak, Jodi Richter, brother David Farr, sister Daisy E. Fassett and brother in law Joseph Madell.
Surviving are sons Charles T. and wife Julie of Jenningsville, Ronald E. of Lovelton and Raymond L. of Forkston, step daughters Carrie Thompson, Susan Richter, Beth Weisenfluh and step brother Charles T. Richter all of Scranton. Brothers Roland Farr of Statesville, NC, John Farr of Milton, sisters Geraldine Madell of Tunkhannock, Mildred Smith of Colley, Mary Jane Stephenson of Mehoopany, and sister in law Diane Farr of Meshoppen.
Graveside memorial service will be held in Vaughn Cemetery at 11 am on Saturday, March 23, 2013 with Pastor Jean Swett of the Mehoopany United Methodist Church presiding .
