Anna M. Rathbun

Anna M. Rathbun 86, of Tunkhannock died Tuesday afternoon at Mercy Hospice in Scranton. She is survived by her husband of 63 years Bruce Rathbun. She was born on January 25, 1924 daughter of the late Clarence and Lilly Holbein Moore. Anna was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her family was very important to her. She was an avid golfer and won several trophies playing golf at Shadowbrook. She also enjoyed playing golf on her trips to Florida. She enjoyed cooking, flowers, and collecting antiques. She was preceded in death by her brothers Elmer and Robert Moore, and sister Dorothy Brackbill. She is survived by her daughter Beth and husband William Miner of Meshoppen, grandson Zachary and wife Christa Dollak and great-grandsons Aidan Dollak and Nicholas George, and sister Jane Evans, of St. Petersburg, Florida, brother William Moore and companion Ronnie Koenig of Lancaster, PA. as well as a nephew and nieces. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, Inc. 73 West Tioga St. Tunkhannock. Interment will be in Sunnyside Cemetery, Tunkhannock. Friends and family may call at the funeral home on Friday evening from 7:00 pm to 9:00 PM.
