Ann Morgan

Ann Morgan, 71, of Tunkhannock passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at her home.

Born on March 9, 1953 in Meshoppen, she is the daughter of the late Jack and Sara (Walsh) Morgan.

She graduated from Tunkhannock High School in 1971 and pursued further studies at Keystone College and Wilkes University, focusing on Sociology and Psychology. Ann ultimately obtained her bachelor's degree in business administration from Marywood University.

Ann proudly dedicated over three decades of her life to the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture, where she worked as a food service representative from 1992 until her retirement in 2022.

She enjoyed watching movies, especially classic 1940's dramas, and was a familiar face at the Dietrich Theater. Ann was also an avid reader, always seeking out new knowledge and experiences that enriched her life.

Additionally, Ann was a proud member of the Wyoming County Democratic Women's Society and the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees Union.

She is survived by her sisters, Claire Morgan and significant other Graham, Jane Yarosh and husband Bill; nieces and nephews, Meridith Walsh (Dustin Randolph), Ryan Yarosh (Hillary), Joseph Yarosh; great-nieces and nephews, Alexandra and Annaliese Yarosh, Terron and Evelyn Randolph.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by sister, Kathleen Walsh.

Family and friends are invited to attend Ann's Blessing Service which will be held on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at 6:00 PM from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home, 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock, PA 18657 with Rev. Patrick Albert presiding. Private interment will be held in Mt. View Burial Park, Harding at a later date.

A viewing will be held from 4:00 PM until the time of service on Tuesday.
