Angelo J. Sabbatini
Angelo J. Sabbatini of Mehoopany died Wednesday evening at the Hospice of the Sacred Heart in Dunmore. He was born in Wilkes-Barre on December 10, 1937 son of the late Romolo and Viola Lawrence Sabbatini.
Angelo was an Air Force Veteran, and for over 40 years he was employed as a bricklayer by local 5 of the Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers Union. He was a member of the Black Walnut American Legion.
Surviving is his wife of 30 years Sherry Jennings Sabbatini, son Anthony of Scranton, daughters Debra (Alec) Barcklow of Bear Creek, Theresa (Jerry) Smicherko of Avoca, and Wendy Carey of Jenningsville, Brother Raymond (Tina) Sabatini of Wyoming, 8 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10 am from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc., 73 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock. Interment will be in St. Anthonys Cemetery, Stowell. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 4 to 6.
