Debra Ann Sherwood of Hunter Lane, Factoryville died Tuesday April 16th in the Hospice Unit of Geisinger South in Wilkes-Barre. She was born in Meshoppen on January 13, 1957 daughter of the late Clarence and Margaret Henry Hallock and Step Daughter of Patricia Allen of Canton.
Debra attended Tunkhannock High School and worked as a clerk in Bricks Market in Tunkhannock. She loved to go to the Casinos, play bingo and working in her flowers gardens. She was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan and enjoyed NASCA R with Kyle Bush as her favorite driver.
She was preceded in death by a brother Mike Hallock.
Surviving is her husband of 37 years Kenneth W. Sherwood, daughter and son in law, Christine and David Lane of Tunkhannock, sons Shawn VanVleck and Kenneth Sherwood Jr., both of Factoryville, grandchildren Jessica, Jordan Hannon, Cheyenne Lane, Samantha, Shawna and Michael VanVleck and Mallory Miller, great grandchild Tyler Glessner, sisters Cynthia and Ken Kinney, Rhonda and Dan Kinney, Candie Drake, Sandy Hallock, Vickie Shea, Kimberly Svec, step-sisters Bobbie Jo Pratt, Connie Murphy, Carol Canfield and Lisa Redlick, brothers Dave , Stacy and Jody Hallock, and her best friend Baxter.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday evening at 6:30 pm from the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc. 73 W. Tioga, Tunkhannock with Pastor Lori Robinson. Interment will be in Sunnyside Cemetery Tunkhannock. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4:30 until the time if service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to HCC Home Health-Hospice Community Care, 601 Wyoming Ave., Kingston, Pa. 18704.
